This policy explains how TRC Homes (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles your personal information when you use our website trchomes.ie, contact us, or send us an enquiry. We are the data controller for the information described here, and we take your privacy seriously. This policy is written to reflect the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data-protection law.

The information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our enquiry form, call us, or email us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, Eircode, and information about the project you’re planning (for example the type of work, rough budget and timing). You choose what to tell us.
Information we collect automatically. Like most websites, when you visit us our systems and the tools we use may collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and tracking” below).
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry, arrange a free consultation, and prepare a plan and quote;
- contact you about your project and answer your questions;
- keep a record of our dealings with you and manage our relationship;
- run, measure and improve our website and our advertising; and
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Our legal bases. We rely on: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, when we deal with your enquiry; your consent for non-essential cookies and marketing; and legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose information. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files placed on your device. We use essential cookies that make the site work, and — where you allow them — analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand how the site is used and measure our ads. These include tools from Google (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (the Facebook/Instagram pixel).
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalisation directly with Google and Meta/Facebook. Turning off non-essential cookies won’t stop you using the site.
Advertising and remarketing
We advertise our services on Facebook and Instagram (Meta) and on Google. To do this we use their advertising tools, which may set cookies and use a “pixel” or tag on our site to measure whether an ad led to an enquiry (conversion tracking) and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our website (remarketing). Meta and Google act as independent controllers for the data they collect through these tools and may combine it with information they already hold about you. You can opt out of personalised advertising using the links in the section above.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Our CRM — GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc.): when you submit the enquiry form, your details are sent to and stored in our customer-management system so our team can follow up with you.
- Google and Meta: for website analytics and advertising, as described above.
- Website hosting — Vercel: our site and its server logs are hosted on Vercel’s infrastructure.
- Professional advisers and authorities: for example accountants or legal advisers, or where we are required to share information by law.
These providers act on our instructions as data processors (except Google and Meta’s advertising services, where they may act as independent controllers).
Sending information outside the EEA
Some of the providers above (including GoHighLevel, Google, Meta and Vercel) are based in, or transfer data to, the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under GDPR — such as the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework — so that your information continues to be protected.
How long we keep your information
We keep your enquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards — up to 24 months after our last contact with you — so we can follow up and keep proper records. We keep information for longer only where the law requires it. When it is no longer needed, we delete it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see your rights below).
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use it;
- ask us to transfer your information to another provider; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@trchomes.ie. We will respond within the time limits set by law. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure and to guard against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take care to protect the information you share with us.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Please check back occasionally to stay informed.
